MEPCO Offices: Head Office, Circles and Sub-Divisions
Last checked 26 September 2026

MEPCO's head office is on Khanewal Road, Multan, but everyday matters such as meter readings, bills, supply faults and household connections are handled by the sub-division office or customer service centre that serves your address. This guide shows which office does what, how to find yours from your bill, and where MEPCO publishes office phone numbers.
Where is MEPCO's head office?
MEPCO's head office is MEPCO Headquarters, Khanewal Road, Multan. NEPRA's documents give the same address, and it is the registered office named in MEPCO's distribution licence.
MEPCO's contact page and FAQ list these head office contacts; the first column names the channel and the second gives the details:
| Channel | Details |
|---|---|
| rcc@mepco.com.pk | |
| Phone | 0319-9757789 |
| Contact form | Name, phone, email, subject and message, on MEPCO's contact page |
| Headquarters complaint lines, for when your local complaint office is busy | 061-9220313, 061-9220314, 061-9220317 and 0800-63726 |
Two related bodies sit elsewhere. PITC, which runs the bill and complaint websites, is at WAPDA House, Lahore, and the regulator NEPRA is at NEPRA Tower, G-5/1, Islamabad. Neither is a MEPCO office. How the three fit together is explained in what MEPCO is and who owns it.
Which MEPCO office handles what?
Start with your sub-division office or customer service centre: between them they handle readings, bills, supply complaints and household connections. Division, circle and head office take escalations and larger connections.
NEPRA's Consumer Service Manual defines three field levels below headquarters, and MEPCO's FAQ names the office for common problems. The table combines the two, from the office nearest you up to headquarters:
| Office | Headed by | Go there for |
|---|---|---|
| Customer service centre (one-window operation) | Centre in-charge | Duplicate bills the same day; wrong meter readings; removing arrears you already paid (bring the receipt); complaints of any kind, with a date for the reply |
| Sub-division | Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), also called Assistant Manager (Operation) | Meter not read; defective meter not replaced after 2 to 3 months; late bills; frequent outages and restoration times; billing complaints; home and shop connections up to 15 kW; small arrears installments |
| Division | Executive Engineer (XEN), also called Deputy Manager (Operation) | Moving a pole or wire (write to the XEN Operation); a disconnection notice for arrears you already paid (the division's customer services officer); connections above 15 kW up to 70 kW; larger installments |
| Circle | Superintending Engineer (SE), also called Manager (Operation) | Connections above 70 kW up to 500 kW; installments above the XEN's limit |
| Head office, Multan | Chief Executive Officer | Complaint lines when local offices are busy; connections above 500 kW; the longest installment plans |
For low voltage, MEPCO's FAQ names the SDO, XEN and SE of your area, who fix it at their level or refer extra work to headquarters. The approval limit of each officer is explained in the guide to MEPCO bill installments. Connection applications themselves can start in the MEPCO SMART app or at a customer facilitation centre, as the guide to a new MEPCO connection explains.
Where are MEPCO's customer facilitation centres?
MEPCO's news release of 19 May 2025 says a regional customer facilitation centre at its Multan headquarters, three centres in Multan city and one each in Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Muzaffargarh had started work.
The same release said modern centres in Khanewal, Vehari, Bahawalnagar and Sahiwal would be activated by 30 June 2025, as part of an order to extend the centres to every operation circle. It lists their services as bill correction, meter reading, replacement of faulty meters, load shedding information, new connection applications, details of dues, and billing and other electricity problems.
The names vary between sources. MEPCO's FAQ says customer service centres, its 2025 release and the ENC portal notice say customer facilitation centres (CFCs), and NEPRA's manual says consumer service centres or one-window operations.
How do I find my sub-division office?
Check your bill. NEPRA's Consumer Service Manual lists the division, sub-division and feeder names, the complaint number, the XEN and SDO contact numbers and the sub-division's address among the particulars a bill should generally carry.
- Open your latest bill. Check your MEPCO bill online with the reference number or customer ID, or take the paper bill.
- Note the office details. Copy the division and sub-division names, the sub-division's address and the SDO and XEN numbers.
- Cross-check online. PITC's Feeder Details page shows the sub-division for your 14-digit reference number.
- Look up current numbers. Open your circle's directory on MEPCO's contact page.
What are MEPCO office timings?
MEPCO's contact and FAQ pages do not publish office hours (checked 26 September 2026). NEPRA's Consumer Service Manual says consumer service centres and one-window operations shall operate round the clock, and that complaint offices work 24 hours a day, holidays included.
For a power failure, call 118, which PITC lists as available 24/7. For anything that needs an officer's decision, such as an installment or a connection file, phone the sub-division first on the number from your bill or MEPCO's directory.
Where does MEPCO list office phone numbers?
On its contact page, under Telephone Directory, as downloadable PDF files rather than a list on the page.
The directory section offers these files:
- the MEPCO eDirectory (telephone directory);
- numbers of headquarters officers and officials;
- numbers of all Superintending Engineers (SEs) and of all Executive Engineers (XENs);
- numbers of MEPCO IT centres;
- numbers of WAPDA hospitals and dispensaries;
- one directory for each of the nine circles: Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Vehari, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalnagar and Khanewal.
Can I deal with MEPCO without visiting an office?
Yes, for most complaints: call 118, send an SMS to 8118, register on PITC's CCMS website, or use the MEPCO SMART app. The Complaint Cell link on MEPCO's own website opens PITC's CCMS.
PITC says its complaint routes let consumers solve supply problems without visiting offices, and that each complaint gets a computerised number that helps it get resolved quickly. Step-by-step instructions are in the guide to filing a MEPCO complaint online through CCMS, and every number is on the MEPCO helpline and complaint numbers page.
